DMS 2.0 "Heisenberg" is here with a new design across the shell, plugins for Dash and OmegaDock, the new Dux Dot, and much deeper compositor support for Hyprland, MangoWC, and newly added, Aqueous. There's a customizable lock screen, the Dux Lyrical Engine, and Dux Files, a new standalone file manager.

This release introduces Frame Mode, a new connected surface that ties the whole shell together, native DankCalendar integration, Hyprland Lua config and enhanced MangoWM support, a reworked Material 3-like shadow system, and hundreds of fixes and improvements across DMS.

It features background synchronization, native event reminders, secure credential storage, a comprehensive GUI, keyboard-driven navigation, and a scriptable IPC interface. It is available now on every DankLinux-supported distro: Arch (AUR), Fedora, Debian, Ubuntu, and openSUSE.
